Are Dogs Really Enlightened Beings?
Why I did shrooms with my cat.
I've spent over 20 years teaching dogs and their humans how to find calm, confidence, and connection.
I meditate. I practice yoga. I study consciousness. I've written books about dogs, emotions, and enlightenment.
And you know what?
I'm still trying to figure out what the hell I'm doing here.
Meanwhile, Bubba, my 100-pound Dogo Argentino, wakes up every morning completely delighted to be alive.
He doesn't worry about money, relationships, his purpose, or whether he's spiritually evolved enough.
He just lives.
And somehow, he gets free whipped cream at Starbucks, women stop him on the street, and everybody wants to be his friend.
Apparently, he's enlightened AF.
One last thought.
Maybe our dogs aren't here just to learn from us.
Maybe they're here to remind us of something we've forgotten.
How to play. How to trust. How to love without overthinking everything.
And how to enjoy a little whipped cream without questioning the meaning of existence.
