I did shrooms with my cat.
Well, not exactly on purpose.
I once made myself a strong magic mushroom tea and left it steeping on the kitchen counter.
Then I glanced up and saw my cat drinking it.
I think she only had a few sips. I had the rest.
What happened next was fascinating.
I started noticing things about her that I'd never noticed before. The way she moved. The way she watched me. The way she communicated without making a sound.
And it reminded me of something I've spent 20 years teaching people.
Animals are talking to us all the time. Most of us just aren't listening.
Your dog is telling you when they're uncomfortable, excited, afraid, frustrated, or ready to trust.
Through their eyes. Their posture. Their movements. Their energy.
And here's where it gets really interesting.
Your dog is reading YOU just as carefully.
Your tension. Your confidence. Your frustration. Your calm.
You can say all the right words, but your dog knows when you're full of crap.
That's why I don't teach dog training the way most trainers do.
I teach a language.
